About
Hello and welcome to our lovely big pub on Liverpool’s Georgian Seel street, set in the awe inspiring 1788 consecrated St Peter’s church.
The church, having ceased operating as a place of worship over 30 years ago, was first developed as a venue in 2005 and has been through many incarnations. Our mission was to refurb, renovate, restore and honour its beautiful original 18th century interior by re-imagining it as a new/old beer hall and grand public house, befitting of the golden age real pubs in the Victorian and Edwardian eras.
Expect true pub honesty, vintage glamour, and 16 cask ales, sourced primarily from local brewers. Come for the real ale, stay for the wines, the cocktails, the pies, the sausage rolls, the samosas!
We’re open 7 days a week from midday (earlier at weekends) til nice and late. We’re a big ‘ol place so lots of rooms/spaces large and modest for all kinds of bookable gatherings.
Or…. just come for the ale, the pies, the live sports on TVs, the board games, and the bonhomie. Loads of that.
